Eco-Performance

An eco-responsible website
Our website has been designed to be lighter, simpler, and less energy-consuming.
A tangible step towards our sustainable commitment to carbon neutrality!
A “lean” website
- Fewer pages: simplified navigation, 4 times fewer clicks to find what you need.
- Compressed images: optimised for performance without compromising quality.
So, what does it actually involve?

And in more detail...
1. 1. Custom development, without templates
No heavy prefabricated themes filled with useless modules. Creation of a custom theme. This theme is based on WordPlate, which provides a modern MVC architecture offering greater modularity and enhanced security. Views are generated with Twig, allowing HTML to be neatly separated from PHP. The result: clearer, more maintainable, and significantly more efficient code. We also disabled most Elementor widgets and their associated resources to avoid unnecessary overhead. Instead, we designed custom widgets, which reduced the DOM by a factor of three and significantly lightened the pages. In short: 100% custom development, designed to meet only the needs of the site.
2. Visuals optimized for the web
All images are provided in WebP format, a lightweight and high-performance format. They are automatically adapted to the screen size and loaded via a lazy loading system, which means that they are only displayed when they actually appear in the user's field of vision. SVG graphics are rendered using SVG-ICON technology, without any additional requests: instant and perfectly optimized display.
3. Optimized scripts and resources
- Preloading essential assets
- Lazy loading for images
- Integration of only strictly necessary libraries
- Style sheets and JS files reduced to less than 100 KBVery light use of Bootstrap, only for grid and column management
Thanks to this optimization work, the site loads faster, consumes fewer resources, and offers a smoother user experience, even on mobile devices or with limited connectivity.
4. Very high performance
The site scores over 90/100 on desktop devices, particularly on performance tools such as Google PageSpeed, which is an excellent indicator of eco-performance. A fast site =
- Less server resources
- Usedless energy consumed
- A better user experience
